With the dismissal given, the ISB agent promptly bows his head and takes his leave. For the next several days, there is little in the way of action. Mostly, Alexis' time would be drawn up with typical duties of a planetary governor. Unlike most worlds, however, there was no third party market to compete with the Empire. Most, if not all, Yashuvhi daily life consists of the Empire's re-education and propaganda campaigns.
Dissidents are quickly quelled, largely through arrests and raids - though there is still the occasional report of skirmishes and ambushes beyond the city limits. As young Yashuvhi men and women drafted into the Stormtrooper Corps. graduate their intensive training, the level in in-city dissent slowly comes to a halt. Alexis would find that, compared to others in similar positions on Nar Shaddaa and the recently conquered Nal Hutta, her duties are relatively simple. Even the complaints of various town leaders across the continent slow down - though this may be due more to the Empire's efforts of silencing dissatisfaction.
But, finally, the time had come.
A report reaches Alexis' desk from Agent Kallum - the apparent Force Sensitive enclave has at last been located. Apparently, the enclave is deep in Yashuvhu wilderness, in a thick, near jungle-like location. The report is vague in regards to their numbers, but since dissidents had joined with the Force Sensitives, calling themselves the Liberate Yashuvhu Movement, it is assumed that they number in the dozens at the most positive estimation, and hundreds at the worst. But, due to their location, they don't seem to have armored vehicles - but one could never be sure.
All speeders, or their equivalents, had been confiscated upon the Empire's conquering of Yashuvhu, but early reports of theft suggests that they may still have some form of aerial or ground support. Commander Tavin's report, however, suggests that taking no less than four AT-ST's is recommended for a clean victory. Force Sensitive or not, they were no Jedi.
The report details that a company, roughly 250 Stormtroopers, four AT-ST's, two 1-H Imperial Repulsor Tanks, two Multi-Altitude Assault Transports, and two TIE Fighters need Alexis' approval and signature to move forward with the plan to assault the LYM enclave. Armored, but unarmed troop carriers would take the troopers to the outskirts of the jungle where they would have to essentially cut through the thick jungle in order to reach their destination.
The plan was simple - utilizing the two MA-AT's and the two TIE Fighters, the plan was to launch a surprise strike as soon as the rest of the force entered the jungle. Two dozen troopers, led by the Nova Guard, would then debark from the MA-AT's and form a holding line. Strafing runs from the TIE's, supported by the MA-ATs' own laser guns, would cut off enemy escape routes, starting fires to aid in this goal, and forcing the enemy to retreat to their enclave. Commander Tavin and his line would keep the pressure on until the rest of the Imperial forces arrive.
Their orders were simple - eradicate the threat completely. However, it appeared as though the report had been reviewed by someone else as well - Decivus had apparently been included, as he had left a foot note at the bottom of the report. This foot note commands that one or two, if possible, Force Sensitives be captured alive. Evidently, the more, the better, as they would be transferred to Nal Hutta to be put through the Inquisitor Program. Besides this foot note, no other additions have been made. Several days after the meeting with Commander Tavin and Agent Kallum, Alexis had been overseeing the facilities and making sure everything was running perfectly. She reads a report that says her flagship the Eviscerator, a Victory-class Star Destroyer, had arrived in orbit. "Excellent, after we deal with the locals I'll have to tour my new flagship."
She continues reviewing reports and one catches her eye and a faint grin tugs at the corner of her mouth. "Finally." She mutters. Reading the report thoroughly, she nods her head in approval of what would be needed.
As she is about to pen her signature for the approval and release of said troops and vehicles, she notices the footnote at the bottom of the report and smirks. "Well that's a good idea indeed Decivus." She mutters to herself. Shaking her head in amusement, she signs her signature on the report. Coming to her feet, she walks to a door which leads to her quarters which was connected to her office.
Walking into her quarters, she strips out of her uniform and puts on a set of combat armor and makes her sure lightsaber is clipped onto her belt. Attaching a cape onto her shoulder epaulets, she does a final check on her weapons and then leaves her quarters. Stopping by her desk, she grabs the report and and leaves her office, enroute to the command center.
Arriving at the command center, she stops a nearby Lieutenant. "Lieutenant, I need you to take this report to Commander Tavin immediately. Inform him he has my permission to proceed as planned. Also, let him know that I'll be heading to the hangar to begin overseeing the staging area for said troops and vehicles in the report."
The Lieutenant nods his head, salutes and runs off to find Commander Tavin with the report. Alexis then leaves the command center, heading for the hangar to begin preparations for the assault.
