It had been a long night. However, sitting in the booth of the cantina, Seiga lifts his feet and rests them on top of his astromech's domed head, eliciting a serious of annoyed beeps and whirls from the unit underneath his boot.
"Yeah TK? Well, your idea of using the repulsorlift last night didn't work out as well as you said it would. So, consider being my footrest punishment."
A bemused grin curl's Seiga's lips as he lowers the top of his brown hood over his eyes to try and rest for awhile until his contact shows up.
"Oi! Where's the Sithspit who was down at the docks last night!? I know he's here!!"
The crowd in the cantina go still and quiet as a large man yells over them. Behind him, two equally brutish individuals enter the bar area and make their way towards the booth where Seiga lies, their hands gripping the blasters in their holsters as they quickly block the booth while their leader slams his fist onto the table.
"You'im?! You that glowstick wielding dead man that busted into my office last night?"
"Right on time" Seiga thinks as his feet remain propped up on his droid's dome. From underneath the brown hood, a low yawn can be heard in response to all the noise.
"Mmm, can't you see I'm trying to rest? It's rude to wake a man when he's sleeping. Now, please, go away..."
As if to emphasize his point, Seiga gently waves his hand towards the source of all the noise to shoo them away.
"Listen bub, I ain't leaving until you or someone pays me for what I lost. Now, the way I see it, you owe me for a dozen security droids and four of my men!" The brute finally makes his move, knocking Seiga's feet off his droid's top and causing them to fall onto the floor. However, the hood over Seiga's head remains draped over his eyes as his droid, TK-421, whirls and beeps warnings to the trio.
"Your men..." Seiga's lips curl into a smirk as he slowly begins reaching out with the Force. "...were warned to quit what they were doing, as you've been warned." Seiga could quickly feel the presence of three men with hostile intent through the uneasiness of the other individual's in the cantina. All three prepared to draw their blasters. He could feel focus of the leader. His determination to seek revenge for the loss of the profits easily discernible over his claims of the loss of his men and droids.
"Now..." Seiga slowly rises to sit up, his feet planted firmly on the ground as he stares at the leader through his hood. "I'll tell you what I told them. Profits in running spice are going to continue to go down. I suggest you find another line of work. I hear this cantina needs a bar-back."
The anger quickly overtook the leader of the trio, something that would be readily apparently to anyone who could see the scornful look on his face. However, what wouldn't be so readily apparent would be the murderous intent behind the look. A feeling broadcasting itself all too well in the Force. An instant later, the leader drew his blaster and pulled the trigger. However, the bolt only flew where Seiga's head had been a second before, scorching a hole in the wall behind him. A moment later and the table separating the Jedi from the gang flew towards the three men, knocking them all back and to the floor and causing the patrons to flee. Jumping to his feet, Seiga quickly stood over the trio.
"Now, are we clear?" He asks while looking down as the group pushes the table off of them in unison. "Guess not" He quips as he both senses and sees the three of them reaching for their blasters. Focusing on the two henchmen's weapons, his call on the Force easily pulls the blasters from their grasps and sends them flying into the booth behind the Jedi as a bright green beam of energy crackles to life, deflecting other laser blasts harmlessly away from him and into the ceiling.
As the three criminals scramble to their feet, Seiga's senses fire with immediate, life-threatening, danger surrounding him. Sure enough, one of the disarmed agents pulls a thermal detonator out of a satchel. Fearing imminent loss of life to both himself and any remaining patrons, Seiga burst toward the man as his saber's green blade slashes through his arm. Immediately, the man howls in pain at the loss of his limb and falls to the ground. Pivoting around, Seiga brings his lightsaber up, instinctively blocking two shots from the leader before slicing the blaster in hand in his hand. As the still molten-hot half of the weapon falls to the ground, Seiga's green blade is drawn inches away from the spice dealer's throat, freezing him in his tracks.
Seiga begins to speak his final warning to the criminal "Now, as I was..." Suddenly, his instincts take over and he dodges a blaster round from behind from the third thug who had managed to retrieve his fallen blaster. The round explodes into the metal hilt of Seiga's lightsaber, causing the green blade to blink out of existence and withdrawn back into the hilt, leaving only a few small sparks in its wake.
Seizing the moment, the two unharmed criminals gather their wounded friend and flee out of the cantina as Seiga takes a deep breath at the encounter. He'd managed to destroy a rather large shipment of spice last night, and his message appeared to have been received by the lieutenant at the cantina. Selling spice would not be as lucrative of a business as it once was with a Jedi around. It'd be best not to take chase and let the message spread. Still, Seiga looks at his damaged lightsaber and sighed to himself.
"I'm getting to old for this..."
A series of beeps and whirls agreeing with the statement comes from TK as Seiga carefully puts the table back where it was and pays the cantina owner for the damage and his trouble. Once back at his ship, he carefully looks at damage to his disassembled double-bladed lightsaber as his astromech droid, TK-421, looks on.
"Well, the good news is the blaster round didn't hit my hand." TK beeps a serious of chuckles, insinuating how inferior human limbs are to droids'. " Yeah, thanks TK. I'll keep that in mind....The bad news is, my saber is shot. Hm, the crystals are perfectly fine, but the bolt knocked out the power and probably short circuited the whole thing. Wouldn't want it blowing up in my hand the next time I turn it on."
TK whirls a response, again suggesting the inferiority of human limbs and laughing.
" I should probably get some new parts. TK, where's the nearest Jedi enclave around this sector?"
A second or two later, TK beeps a response and immediately starts plotting a course into the ship's computer.
"Dantooine huh? I can't remember the last time I was there. Well, I guess we're going to Dantooine. I'll stop and fix my saber, get something to eat, see how the Order is doing, and then come back here. I'm sure the gangs here will miss me."
Seiga couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Still, it had been quite a few years since he'd run into anyone from the New Jedi Order, and he did happen to make some new friends that he missed. So, a sense of nostalgia filled him as his ship, KnightRise, quickly took off from the spaceport and blasted into hyperspace.
