Tasjon was a city on the planet of Corulag that hosted an important annual swoop race in the years before the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, this race was won by Ignar Ominaz and the city was the origin of a HoloNet News article that broadcast his victory.
*Cabal brings his ship out of orbit into the atmosphere. He flies over the planet surface in the direction of the city of Tasjon. The swoop track stadium begins to come into view. The stadium looks like it has seen better days, but from the cheering, seems to still be in use. There are far less spectators in attendance based on the number of seats that are empty. There are a good number of swoops in the races. He docks his ship among all the other ships. There does not seem to be much security present in the docking area.
Cabal enters the swoop arena, pays his fee and enters the arena. the track is littered with crashed swoop racers and there are random fires on the track which serve as more obstacles. The track speaker system needed much to be desired in terms of equipment. Cabal made the decision to observe the races then see if the track coordinators would be interested in having him look at and make repairs to the system in the commentator booth. Cabal would also check the planet for merchant shops with better systems for computer upgrades.*
*Cabal had watched a few of the swoop races before checking out the rest of the stadium. The seating and arena are in fairly good shape and with a good amount of credits made could upgrade the arena and a continuation of the plans made by Cabal and the other droids he encountered. Cabal heads up to the room where the holovids and news reports on the races where recorded. The computer systems are still in a functional order but need work. There is a closet nearby marked maintenance/crew only. The room is filled with technical equipment and a couple of MK series maintenance droids, which appear deactivated. Cabal reactivates them, checks their programming and proceeds to get them back in working order. Along with the two MK droids, Cabal works on the holovid systems. Together they get the systems in better order, the monitors across the arena can now be seen clearer to the stadium fans. The next step will be to increase their range to project across the galaxy to other swoop tracks and cantinas.*
*Cabal and the onsite droids get the holonet systems back up and working. He is notified from the numerous cantinas and around the track that the system is operating fine. The next step is to check and repair if needed the system to transmit across the galaxy and receive transmissions from other swoop tracks. This will increase the credits coming in from gambling in both locations and in turn, if the programs are installed properly skimmed to the private accounts set up to certain droid counterparts across the galaxy. The following test holotransmission is sent to the communications at the Nar Shaddaa track with the message to broadcast the swoop race to the spectators on Nar Shaddaa.*
*With the races reorganized and once again prosperous, that leaves Cabal with the time to plan another venture to undertake. His actions throughout the galaxy have furthered droid usage and organization throughout the galaxy. Cabal heads to the room set aside for the droids to recharge and maintain there functions. When his recharge is complete, by the next morning he will take the time to research and figure out what to do next.*
*Having been so busy traveling the galaxy, encountering many other sentient self aware droids, had severely drained his main processing unit, so it took until early evening to become fully charged. Cabal stepped from the recharge station and did a self diagnostic on all his functions and programming. There was one message on his comlink. Cabal did not recall giving out his comlink access number, but being a droid knows it can be easily found by an expert slicer or in his case by one of the many droids he had met across the galaxy. The message was in Omnisignal unicode, a droid language used by probe droids. Cabal, having protocol programming could easily translate the message. Cabal heard the electronic sounds common to probe droids just outside the door.
He went to the door where a probe droid was indeed waiting. The same droid that was on the recording system. The probe droid must have sought him out for a purpose unknown to him but have to do with all the droids encountered since awakening from the lengthy stasis entered at the time his human partner had been killed so Cabal was not caught, reprogrammed or destroyed. The probe droid did not respond to where they were going but just to follow. Cabal did as instructed heading into the near empty streets taking roads that lead to what must be the business/industrial areas devoid of activity as the work day had ended.*
*The probe droid leads Cabal to what looks like an old abandoned warehouse. Taking a look at the building, his sensors indicate the warehouse is structurally sound. The noise from within suggests that whatever is inside, the facility is in use, for what purpose unknown at the time. A panel opens up in the main door and a TT-8L/Y7 gatekeeper droid extends out and scans the probe droid and Cabal, communicates to the probe droid on who Cabal is before retreating into the door. The door slowly opens to reveal what appears to be a droid repair facility. There is machinery for reconstruction and maintenance of droids. It was more dexterous having five arms than most construction models, was sitting at a round desk surrounded by consoles. It's head rotating full circle to check each monitor, overseeing all the progress made in the facility. It motioned for the probe droid to bring Cabal over to him.
Around the building were droids of all kinds being serviced and performing functions to maintain the facility. There was a loading dock in the far end with numerous land vehicles for transport and delivery. Cabal could detect traces of Coma gas was a colorless, odorless gas used to incapacitate most species of humanoids. All it took was a few breaths of coma gas for a person to be out for hours. The foreman droid told him we do not want to harm humanoids if we do not have to, we merely wish to coexist equally not as subservients. Sit down at that monitor, I will be uploading a holovid of the history of droids who followed our path, the founders of our movement if you wish to view it in that way.*
*Cabal brings up the recently downloaded holovid on the terminal. It seems to be mainly comprised of grainy security cam coverage and news clips from the two main news broadcast networks: The Galactic News Network and The Imperial News Networks. The Czerka Corporation created the HK Series droid. The HK-01 was responsible for the Great Droid Revolution on Coruscant. Access that file for more information. The HK-47 assassin model in service at the end of the Mandalorian Wars used the HK-24 schematics with the HK-01 design but was greatly improved on. Due to his large degree of autonomy and adaptive programming, HK-47 went on to become the longest surviving, most infamous, and most effective of the HK series. The HK-50 series was designed more for mass casualty infliction than it's predecessor. There were rumors that later models had advanced so much that a few developed sentience. The holovid chapter one was complete and asked the viewer if he would like to continue or end the clips, to press go and move forward with droid autonomy.*
*The next holovid was about one of the many droid revolts. Once Cabal started the recording it gave a history of the revolt. The Droid Revolution was a threat most of the galactic public never knew existed. It was a massive revolt planned by the IG assassin droids IG-88 A, B, C, and D which never occurred as planned. Their plan was to use massive armies of droids to exterminate all the "inferior biologicals" that plagued the galaxy. They went about creating an army by implanting sleeper codes into droids that would turn on their biological masters when the IGs activated the signal. Their plot was ended with IG-88A's destruction at the Death Star II.*
*Cabal found one more short entry under the heading: Cybernetic Lifeforms. The subtitles contained information on a Dark Lord of the Sith known as Belia Darzu devised a dark side ritual called mechu-deru vitae, using it to build her own army of technobeasts—the Metanecrons. Housing the creatures inside a hidden stronghold on the planet Tython. Kazdan Paratus, a male Aleena Jedi Master. Paratus abandoned his colleagues and fled to the planet Raxus Prime on the Outer Rim of the galaxy. Living in isolation on the junk planet, Paratus slowly descended into madness, attempting to reconstruct the Order from the junk that surrounded him. A group of technobeasts were created on the planet Trailia by a Dark Side Adept known as Cronal. While residing on Trailia, Cronal spent years experimenting on the native inhabitants using his Stygian Art, a technique derived from a combination of Sith alchemy and the power of mechu-deru.
There was a warning that should there be the possibility they may still be functioning and under the influence of the darkside. After centuries, they may be rusted out machines, the organic aspects of the creations long since rotted away. If still under the darkside influence, there could be a chance they would once again unify and fight back.*
Warlord Chiren Guinn: Far be it from anyone to suggest you don't have room here Seiga

Jul 25, 2020 0:05:59 GMT -5
Master Seiga: Mmm, is there room for a Jedi in what's going on? I've got to be honest, I've been out of 'the game' for awhile. So I'm probably rusty

Warlord Chiren Guinn: If it helps, I am usually online around midnight to 2:30am New England time. I work 3pm to 11pm during the week, and typically sleep until 9 or 10am. That's why my appearances have been spotty.
Jul 24, 2020 20:45:30 GMT -5
Warlord Chiren Guinn: I'll be posting when I get home, Sarrai. I had some trouble with writer's block, but I think I'm over it now.
Jul 24, 2020 20:43:20 GMT -5
Warlord Chiren Guinn: Also, Seiga, if you do decide to RP with us, we would be quite glad for it. It's been pretty gloomy in terms of activity for a while now.
Jul 24, 2020 20:40:18 GMT -5
Warlord Chiren Guinn: I've seen Yurik online with my PS4 many times, pretty sure he just decided to quit RPing when Cait made it clear she wouldn't be able to RP anymore. And someone definitely lurks, I see guests here all the time.
Jul 24, 2020 20:39:23 GMT -5
Sarrai: Hey Seiga, that happens to me too, you disappear when I sign in. Finally a challenge for the galaxy.
Jul 18, 2020 7:41:40 GMT -5
Master Seiga: Naturally, I'm able to come back and everyone runs off. cracks knuckles Guess I'll have to take over the galaxy myself and remake it in my glorious image
Jul 17, 2020 22:34:16 GMT -5
Governor Alexis Grey: Haven't heard from either of them in at least a couple of years by now.
Jul 15, 2020 19:27:24 GMT -5
Sarrai: I wonder about Cait and Yurik who just up and vanished
Jul 15, 2020 12:29:11 GMT -5
