Decivus' softly glowing yellow eyes narrow as he listens to the clone's reply. It identifies itself as Set Harth - something Decivus was unnerved by - while also clearly understanding that it is not Set Harth at the same time. Had the Dark Jedi cloned himself and bothered to educate the clones? If so, to what end? If his intention was to merely have 'backup bodies', why take the time and effort to teach them, or have them taught?
At some points, the clone seems to babble, disoriented by the awakening process no doubt. But the information about other possible clones scattered on other worlds further unnerves Decivus. While the clone itself does not appear aware if its progenitor is still alive, it does quickly identify two worlds. Doan, Decivus knew, was an old strip mine planet - barely anything on the planet was left in terms of resources. That it even still harbored an active mining corporation and had a breathable atmosphere after thousands of years of deep mining was incredible.
The young Sith Lord recalls Ambria more clearly, as he had once visited the planet himself. At that time, he had been apprenticed to Vor Essen; or, at least he had thought as much. When it became clear on Mandalore that Vor saw Decivus as more of a mildly amusing toy, the young Sith chose to sever his association with the Dark Lord. But in doing so, if the recent meeting he had with Vor, this had created an unusual dynamic between the two. Awkward, perhaps, but interesting in its own right. Vor had even gone out of his way to give Decivus acknowledgement during that conversation.
Decivus watches the clone lose consciousness, and glances over at Lieutenant Mitth. He is tempted to ask the Chiss if it would be a wise use of their time to pursue this lead, but resists. Doing so, Decivus recalled from his brief studies of the Chiss, would mean he would lose face in front of the being. Decivus would need to make these decisions himself.
Curiosity aside, Set Harth's trail is already thousands of years old - waiting a bit longer would not dust that path any further. He could feel the clone's life draining in the Force, which caused Decivus no distress. The clone offered up information that could be followed, given time. Two planets, the knowledge of other clones possibly still existing elsewhere on other worlds, the very real possibility of the Dark Jedi's continued existence...
That thought brings Decivus to a fast halt. If the Dark Jedi was indeed still alive, then he posed a threat, however minute it may be. If the man was still alive, then he has had thousands of years to hone his skills and enhance his power. Hunted by the Jedi and Sith, he would have become incredibly skilled in going to ground and disappearing. It is dangerous to allow such a being exist. However, on the other hand, if Set Harth still lived, and was willing to teach, he would have millennia of knowledge Decivus could attain for himself. And once the Dark Jedi served his purpose, Decivus could dispose of him once and for all.
"Lieutenant, have those archives you recovered from the terminal upstairs sifted through at your earliest convenience once we have returned to the Retribution." Decivus tells the Chiss, turning his eyes onto the Chiss fully. "Specifically, find out if this clone's claims hold true to current day. Buildings, asset holdings, anything we can use to begin tracing this Set Harth. Alive or dead, he is a danger to the Empire - I would see his assets and knowledge taken for the benefit of the Empire before it can be used against us."
Decivus glances briefly at the clone, and then looks to the troopers guarding the far door.
"Dispose of the clone, we have no further use for it." Decivus cruelly orders in a calm tone, as if he had just ordered the troopers to run a simple perimeter search. As the Stormtroopers move to obey their command, Decivus takes the tome and knife they had found and hands them to one of the troopers guarding the stairwell. "Take this back upstairs for processing. Lieutenant, you and I will continue on ourselves from here. Let us see what else this place is hiding."
Decivus heads for the door on the far wall, and waits by it for the Chiss to follow.
