Effective immediately we have put into place a Site Code of Conduct. Every member who wishes to RP here must agree to the terms as listed below by posting agreement in this thread. The terms are subject to change with out notice or warning. The Site Code of Conduct Rules These are the site rules of conduct. Breaking them will result in penalties as described below: 1. Out of character (OOC) attacks against another member of the site are never appropriate under ANY circumstances. No exceptions will be given for breaking this rule. 2. Understand the difference between IC (in-character) and OOC. 3. There should be no OOC conversation in ANY game thread, outside of mod notes and replies if necessary. If there is a question or concern about something that has within the game take it to the Mod rule thread or send it by PM. Including questions pertaining to site rules and particular areas, IE: Dueling, GC (Ground Combat), Navy, Banking, SL (Story Lines), etc be directed to the moderators involved with those areas. On more than ONE occasion we have seen disinformation given or those who suspect themselves to be experts giving COMPLETELY wrong information. Mod and Admin contact 4. The CBOX is a privilege not a right. We maintain a PG-13 rating on the CBOX and it should be kept at all time, it is not a place for bickering, fighting or attacking one another OOC. Breaking this rule is considered a SERIOUS offense. Rick rolls will be considered as spamming the CBOX. Posting of rick roll links will not be tolerated. 5. All characters are required to fill out a character sheet and be approved by the Mod/Admin group. Plagiarizing of other character's profiles is a serious offense and can be met with a ban. The approved template for a character sheet may be found here: Template We should at all times show respect towards one another, and especially those who give of their time to moderate and administrate this site. The decisions of the Administrators and Moderators are tantamount to law and are to be respected. If you do not agree with the decision, you can appeal it. To appeal a moderator decision, You are to go to an administrator in PM. IF you want to appeal a decision made by an Administrator, You are to go to the full Administration team via PM. (Kreiton, Jacen, Jaing and Brevi) Please notice this does not say argue with them in the CBOX, or in a game thread, this will no longer be tolerated. Consequences The 1st offense will result in a warning VIA PM. If the offense occurs in the CBOX, than you will be asked to watch or stop your current actions by a CBOX Moderator in the CBOX rather than a PM. The 2nd Offense Will Result in a 2 week ban from the site and/or CBOX depending on what is appropriate. The 3rd offense will result in a permanent ban from the site and/or CBOX as appropriate. GROSS misconduct can lead to a Ban without warning. This Ban may be temporary or permanent. This decision is not subject to appeal. Complaints If there is a complaint against another member or inappropriate conduct is witnessed in the CBOX and no Mod or Admin is around at that time, than please copy and paste the information and send it to the Administration team.
