Jedi Manifesto
1) Jedi have to act like Jedi-what does this mean? The Jedi were selfless defenders of the peace, upholders of justice and the staunchest of allies to the weak, downtrodden and oppressed. They never acted for selfish gain, and gave their lives in the service of others
2) Jedi seek peace and justice-a lightsaber was a tool that enabled the Jedi to defend against attack. However, it was a reminder to the Jedi that there was always another way. A Jedi's first defence was through peaceful means, through discussion and debate. Only when an enemy would not listen to reason should a Jedi lift their saber in aggression. Aggression for aggressions sake is not the modus operandi of a Jedi
3) Jedi and relationships-Jedi attachment is not discouraged. However, Jedi must always seek to conduct themselves in a manner that is caring, compassionate and respectful of others.
4) Jedi and discipline-The Jedi believe in discipline, from training to respect of their peers and masters. As part of this discipline, Jedi will accept correction when they have erred. Any punishment should have one simple goal in mind-how can the person who has erred learn from their mistake and become a better Jedi. However, punishment up to and including exile, is acceptable, depending on circumstances
5) Loyalty to the Order-above all other ties, a Jedi's loyalty to the Order should come first. A Jedi's duty is to uphold and protect the Jedi Code, because through the Code we are better able to understand the Force. This duty even extends to standing against superiors, where those superiors are acting against the ethics and morals of what it means to be a Jedi. However, this also must be done with respect and compassion
6) Jedi and equality-the Jedi respect the rights of all sentient beings. As all are touched by the force to some extent, the Jedi hold that all are equal. Just because a Jedi can move objects with a thought does not make him better than a starship mechanic. This also holds true among the Order. All Jedi are treated equal. No Master has precedent over another in matters of fairness or discipline. Each member should be treated with the same respect and held to the same values

Sign me up please and if I can, I'd like to be a healer as I am on WOSW. And I would be happy to sign up to assist in any instructing classes here or just be a help to the Order in general. Thank you, Jacen Angie
